About Department

Department of library science was established in the year 2003-2004 under the self finance scheme at undergraduate level for girls only. The mission was to focus on providing knowledge of the principles and practices of classical library science along with the current technology it also in physics to acquaint students with the growth and development of universe of knowledge element of library in ship and knowledge management the department train student in library organization in the environment of ICT domain the department with the latest tool and technology of library science. Bachelor of Library Science and Information Science which is one year course is running under this department.
